Chili on a cinnamon roll? Syrup and peanut butter on waffles? Which of those two combos would you rather try? It turns out almost everyone has some kind of wacky food combination that they absolutely swear by, but everyone else thinks is stomach-churning.

Redditors sounded off the comments of this r/AskReddit post when u/wildwoodflower_ asked, "What's a food combo you love that people think you're weird for?" The combinations ranged from lightly weird to "I cannot believe you'd ever think to pair those two ingredients."

Naturally, some food pairings might make you squeamish, but might just be an every day meal to people in other countries or cultures. One great example was putting plain yogurt on rice. It seems like an odd combo at first, but that's the base of lots of food dishes already!
